AT LONG LAST

What’s good y’all, it’s Ruben.

We know you guys have been waiting a while, But let us explain why.

@Vrillcrew first started two and a half years ago.

To all you guys that bought that first Memento Mori drop…thank you.

I was living in New Orleans summer 2023 and a lot of you guys were asking for merch, so I said fuck it and made the first drop.

A few weeks later I decided to go back to my regular winter gig as a ski bumb in Utah, but didn’t have space to fit all the T-shirts on the plane.

So Vrill Crew was on hold…

During my winter there, more of you guys started asking for merch, so I said fuck it and made the second drop.

A few weeks after that I got an opportunity to go work in Thailand, but didn’t have the space to fit the 100 pairs of sunglasses I just made.

So Vrill Crew was on hold again…

The next 6 months was spent scaling Vrillerism and Vrill Club with @themaxjen jumping between Europe and Southeast Asia.

After that, We decided to link up and go to Brasil and finally get the Vrill Crew going again.

We landed in Brasil. Cooked up some awesome designs. Visited the manufactures. And we were ready to place the order.

We had the designs. We had the Shopify page. We had the energy of men who had absolutely no idea what they were doing.

(we could finally change the vrill crew landing page, we know the first drops been loading for over half a year, but not for too much longer, just wait! 😎)

Then we soon realized that shipping to the USA, where most of you guys are at, would be a huge hassle (Taxes, tariffs, customs and all that bullshit)

So vrill crew was on hold again…

Then we went to Vietnam.

& Vietnam had other plans for us. Big ones.

We locked in for 2 months on the Vrill Club itself, forgetting entirely about the Vrill Crew.

Building the one and only [Vrill Club Platform].

Our own thing. From scratch. Something we're genuinely proud of.

and something that would've never been built if Brazil hadn't knocked the merch idea out of our hands.

But now, at long last, the wait is finally over.

Designing clothing for Vrillerism has been something I’ve always wanted to do.

And too many of you guys are asking when the next drop is coming.

We’re currently in Thailand, and even though we’re thousands of miles away from home. We’re getting it going again.

Were gonna figure it out one way or another because FUCK IT WE BALL.

And Vrill Crew is too important to put off any longer.

And that brings us to today…

Ok, I'll take it from here.

About a month ago we landed back on Koh Tao. An island that is slowly starting to feel like home.

Building out new features for the Vrill Club platform daily. Putting our hearts and souls into creating authentic content (mainly Ruben to be fair).

More and more we've been getting messages about clothing.

"When's it dropping?" "Where can I buy that shirt?" "When is the goddamn clothing drop coming?"

The purpose of the Vrill club is Vrill amplification. And it's undeniable. They've been telling us to figure out the clothing forever now.

We finally heard them. (H/T Rick)

For the past couple of days we've worked non-stop to figure this out. And, we think we've done it.

Some dope designs. Shipping to most corners of the earth (that was hard). Rebuilding the store.

This time we had no excuses. If a wall showed up, we smashed our heads through it.

Is it perfect? No.

Is it done? What the fuck does that even mean?

If there's one thing I've learned over the past five months is that perfect is not the goal.

You can't make something better if there's nothing to make better.

This is version 1. Shipping fast as I was taught by all the indie hackers on X and in The Lean Startup.

Rome wasn't built in a day but someone had to lay the first brick for all to see.

Today that is us.

This isn't merch. It's a physical extension of the creative spirit that runs through Ruben.

He's always loved putting art into the world and now he gets to do it through clothing as well.

We are currently working all day and night to get this up ASAP!

To all of you who asked "When is the clothing dropping?", in the comments, in the DMs, in the Club; thank you. You pushed this into existence.

Victory is inevitable. Took us five months and three countries to prove it. But here we are.
